Our debut, 12-track album of raw-boned, throwback Country Gospel music is self-titled simply “The NEW EARTH BAND”, and contains seven original tunes along with 5 old-time Gospel favorites.  Our second project, “Gospel Truth”, likewise contains seven original songs, along with 6 traditional Gospel classics.  Both efforts deliver a full, rich sound  that  feels just about as comfortable as an old shoe!

Pat Garrett’s Central Pennsylvania’s Classic Country Music 1510-AM WWSM  (www.wwsm.us) is giving The New Earth Band  some appreciable airplay.  WWSM Public Relations Director Suzie Sheetz says of the debut album, “You’ve got a winner here … The Door and Gospel Shoes are kickers, but it’s Jesus Never Sang the Blues that knocked us upside the head with Thy Holy Two-by-Four … it rides like a Caddy … the lyrics are catchy and it sounds like we could be onto a real crowd-pleaser … This is goooood stuff, as Andy Griffith used to say … ”

East Side Dave Kline, of Reading PA’s WEEU 830 AM, (www.weeu.com) has picked up on “The New Earth Band”  and featured the track “The Unclouded Day” on his “Mountain Folk”  (www.mountainfolk.com) organic classics show, which airs each Sunday from 9:00 to 10:00a.

Shippensburg, Pennsylvania’s WEEO 1480 AM and 93.9 FM, and Carlisle, Pennsylvania radio station WIOO 1000 AM, all strictly Classic Country stations, have been airing The NEW EARTH BAND’s music on their Sunday Country Gospel music program.  According to GM Flo Fisher, her Program Director exclaimed, after giving our work an honest ear, “Hey, this is pretty good!”   Flo also listens to our music  at home.  Hallelujah!  Stay tuned!
